Joe Biden wages war against the First Amendment

The prosecution of and the prison sentence given to Douglass Mackey for posting a harmless joke meme on Twitter was an obscene abuse of power that should end with the impeachment of Joe Biden and every single Justice Department official who participated in this farce. Hopefully the upcoming appeal of Mackey's ridiculous punishment will result in his complete and total exoneration for speech protected by the First Amendment.
Mackey was an obnoxious Twitter troll who posted a meme back in 2016 urging Hillary Clinton supporters to text a number to "skip the line" and vote for her. This is a boringly normal joke that we see every election, from both Republicans and Democrats. Nobody takes these memes and jokes literally. In fact,
National Review reported that "the government failed to produce a single eligible voter who did not vote because of Mackey’s tweets."
But even if tens of thousands of people had been "deceived" by an obvious joke that has been told many times over by many different people on both sides, Mackey still committed no crime and violated no one's voting rights. As a voter, it is your responsibility to know when and where you are supposed to vote. There are innumerable resources to find this information, including calling your local county clerk's office or looking at official documentation online. If you do not vote because you took a Twitter meme as truth, then you have no one to blame but yourself.
Mackey is fraudulently accused of violating a law passed in the 1800's to stop the Ku Klux Klan and other assorted racist terrorists from beating, lynching or otherwise intimidating Black people to stop them from voting. No one could have imagined when the law passed that people would be prosecuted for
telling a joke more than 150 years later. By trying to send Mackey to prison for
jokes, Biden is mocking the sacrifice of millions of Blacks who faced legitimate and very violent voter suppression. Biden is also in open rebellion against the Constitution and the rule of law. Biden
knows this speech is protected by the First Amendment, but is using the case against Mackey to intimidate conservatives into silence.
It is impossible to understate just how dangerous this is to our liberty and our constitutional order. We need to understand that
every single American who uses social media is vulnerable to malicious prosecution and months or even years in prison for making jokes about elections. This is a direct assault on our First Amendment rights, and an abuse of power by the lawless Biden regime to punish political enemies and use justice system to terrorize people into silence about elections. Joe Biden is doing exactly what the law tried to stop the KKK from doing in the 1800s.
Joe Biden is a lawless rebel against our Constitutional order who should have been impeached and removed from office for abuse of power the second charges were filed against Mackey three years ago. Biden presents himself as a defender of "democracy," but his illegal actions are a direct threat to democracy. When government abuses the criminal "justice" system to punish political free speech, democracy is impossible.
