There is no "free speech" right to put porn in school libraries

Somehow, this nation has managed to survive for nearly two hundred and fifty years, and tens of millions of families have successfully raised children to be well adjusted adults without the need for so-called "experts" to micromanage every aspect of our lives. Many people manage to get along quite well in life without being "experts."
Increasingly in our perverted age, appeals to "experts" are designed to shut down dissent rather than expand our knowledge. This was put into sharp focus in a debate between MSNBC host Joy Reid and a representative of Moms for Liberty over what books are appropriate in schools. When her guest pointed out that some books feature hardcore pornography, Reid actually said this:
What is the expertise that you have, and other Moms for Liberty advocates have, to decide that an award-winning book like All Boys Aren't Blue isn't appropriate for students to read?
This is fully perverse. One does not need "expertise" to conclude that pornography should not be in school libraries. One does not need to be an "expert" to know that some content is inappropriate for children. Tens of millions of families have known for millennia based on common sense and instinct. Appealing to so-called "experts" to justify content that grooms children sexually is not intellectually honest. It is evil.
Reid quickly fell back on "parental rights," a concept that the radical Left loves to distort beyond all recognition when the topic is sexualizing children. A parent does not have the "right" to show his children the most degrading content on PornHub or OnlyFans, and most people would see such behavior as abusive or grooming. And even if we accept that some of these books are appropriate for children (they are not) there is no reason they need to be stocked in elementary school libraries.
Obviously school libraries should not be stocking pornographic content.
The lesson is simple: Do not be intimidated by
the idolatry of qualifications. Do not accept the radical Left's premise that you have to be an "expert" to discuss basic principles of morality and protecting children. Stand your ground and refuse to be silenced, and attack the utter absurdity of the demand that only so-called "experts" can speak to public policy or morality.
